Waynesville Middle School sixth graders had a chance to “meet” popular author Margaret Peterson Haddix, known for her dystopian/science fiction series such as Among the Hidden, during a virtual author visit on April 25th. Haddix discussed her writing process, what she is working on, and took time to answer student questions. WMS Creative Writing Club raised funds to ensure that this could happen. This was such a great opportunity and experience for our students!
