The Math Counts competition was held at T.C. Roberson High School on Saturday, February 3, 2018.  There were over 150 students from regional schools competing in 4 rounds.  The team from WMS consisted of 1 seventh grader, Scarlett S. and 3 sixth graders; Taylor S., Stephen B., and Hannah C.  Even though this was their first Math Counts competition and they were competing against older and more experienced students our team scored well in all 4 rounds and scored in the top 25% in the Sprint round where they had just 40 minutes to complete 30 problems.
