Pictured are Amanda Caroline McCall and Kielynn Cockrell

Ms. Haney and Mr. Basulto’s classes painted teapots in conjunction with their study of the events leading up to the American Revolution, the Boston Tea Party and the Edenton Tea Party in NC and taxation.
The teapots are not actual teapots, but are personal savings banks incorporating economics and taxation into the curriculum, which reflected the mantra before the Revolution – “no taxation without representation”.
